This new blog post has extra special meaning.
This groom I have known since he was about 7 years old. I used to babysit him and his siblings....
Yes, babysit!!
There was Mitch, Jordie, Jillian and Jeffery. Mitch was always well behaved, Jordie definitely had a twinkle in his eye, Jillian was always so quiet and and Jeffery was a happy and content baby. At least that is how I remembered it. Ha ha! It was a long time ago!
Now it is not like Mitch and I have seen each other on a regular basis, in fact I do believe the last time I saw Mitch was when I had shot some photos of his graduation. But, I do run into his Mom once in a while and I have gotten updates on him and his brothers and sister.
When I was contacted by Mitch and Tracy, it was always Tracy that I had spoken with. "She is such a beautiful soul", I had thought after the first time we had talked on the phone and when I got the chance to meet her the day of the wedding, I thought "WOW!, Mitch did good!!" She is beautiful in every way possible. And I mean that.
You did good Mitch. Real good.
When I got to see Mitch, on the day of the wedding, he gave me such a huge hug that I felt it in my toes!
So heartwarming! Not that I had any doubts, but, Mitch had matured into such a nice, handsome and thoughtful guy!!
You did good, Tracy. Real good.
I am not sure if I can even express how I feel about this family. When I was editing these pictures I would find myself smiling away and reminiscing about this amazing family and the babysitting adventures we had.
Jen and Joe always made me feel welcome in their home and would always put up with my chattiness even when it was really late and I am sure they wanted to go to bed!! Thanks for your patience, Joe! Ha ha!
Enough chattiness...it's time for some photos!!
One of my favs!!
The Schochter Family.
Thanks so much to the Schochter and Doorman families! You are amazing!!
Tracy and Mitch, I wish you all the best in all your years to come!!
Thanks for everything!
