Megan and Justin

Megan and Justin.

What a wonderful couple.

Megan is quiet and soft spoken and Justin has this deep serene voice that just makes you want to hug him. These two are from Abbotsford and decided to get married at a place they absolutely love...Megan's great aunt's house. This property took my breath away. It is literally in the middle of the mission, but you cannot hear or see any traffic and you get just a little peek of the next door neighbours. Very private and very beautiful. I could totally understand why they wanted to get married there.

Megan and Justin kept telling me that they 'just wanted one good picture'. Maybe this is it....?

Or maybe this one??

Or how about this one?

Megan says she doesn't like her smile...I am sure everyone would agree with me....her smile is amazing!

A very special friend of mine, by the name of Shaun Bos, helped me with this wedding. She is a very talented photographer and took some beautiful ring shots. (as well as many other photos but no room or time on this post!)

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day, Megan and Justin. I hope that we got 'just one good picture' for you. Shaun...THANK YOU! I am so very glad you are my friend. :)

The Bottomley Family

This family is amazing! They have SO much fun!!

I shot some photos for this family a couple of years ago and when they had contacted me to do some more, I was super excited!! The 2 things I remembered most about this family was how good looking they all were and how much they smiled! I just kept thinking how much fun Christmas would be at their house.

I just have one boy...I am not sure how Marilyn did it. Twins first and then she wanted two MORE???
They should have called her Crazy Marilyn. Whatever they did to raise those boys, they did it right, that's for sure!!

What do good looking people make? Darn adorable kids!

Here's proof of the fun.

This picture literally made me laugh out loud. It was near the end of the shoot and I asked them to make faces. Check out the baby...she is only 10 months old. :)

Thank you Bottomley family! I will take your pictures anytime or anywhere..that is a promise!

Kayla Maternity

So, I just want you to know that I am quite enjoying this blogging thing. My good friend Jason Frank tried to get me to start blogging a few years ago but I kept giving him one excuse after another. I have no idea why, but I guess I just wasn't ready. Now I am! Jay, thank you so much for being so patient with me. You are my rock.

Now on to the lovely Kayla, pregnant with my last post, baby Liam. Maternity and newborn/baby shoots are really new to me, but I sure do enjoy them. How could I not, when you have models like these two?! They were up for anything and when I was taking a little too long to set up the shot, they never complained one bit! And it was HOT! Shade or no shade, when you are pregnant, you are a walking furnace.

Kayla and Robert...thank you once again. You two were so patient with me! Enjoy that beautiful baby boy!

Baby Liam

I met Kayla and Robert when they were picking up my free change table. They are such a sweet young couple and after we got talking, realized that I had met Kayla when she was younger and knew her grandparents! People give me a hard time about talking alot, but how else do you find out information like that??!! Not everyone would have. :)

I did shoot some maternity photos of them as well, but I just couldn't resist posting the baby ones first.

And introducing....baby Liam!!

A little Pink Floyd...and yes, those are records!

Kayla, Robert and Liam.

Liam was such a good baby...a dream to shoot, really. His eyes were wide open and he only cried just a little bit! Thanks Kayla, Robert and Liam. Let's do this again!

Kyla & Cheri Reunite!

Kyla and Cheri have been friends for a long time. They recently had a chance to catch up when Cheri came halfway around the world for a visit. Or as much as you can with 5 kids running around. Cheri flew all the way from Australia with her 3 beautiful girls, who are Maddy age 5, Danica age 3 and baby Addison who is 6 months. Now as crazy as that sounds, Cheri did have help from her wonderful Mom (who was behind the scenes during these pics). Kyla has 2 amazing kids by the names of Elisabeth, who is 3 and Charlie who is 18 months. Poor little Charlie...the only boy! Good thing he is too young to realize how outnumbered he was.

Now we started out in the alley behind Flashbacks and then made our way to the bird sanctuary...then the beach! Once we hit the sand it was not long before Maddy and Danica were full on swimming in their clothes! Poor Elisabeth was not feeling so good so she kinda hung back....and as for Charlie and Addison, well, unfortunately for them, their mom's had control of what they could do.

Now you may notice that there are a few pictures that are black and white with the color added. That is because Cheri let me know how much she likes pictures like that.

This picture I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about posting. If you notice in the picture it is Elisabeth and Charlie with pink soothers. Let's just hope Kyla's husband will forgive us. Me for taking the photo and posting it and Kyla for giving Charlie a pink soother in the first place!! Sorry Stephen.

This picture is one of Kyla's favorites. She refers to it as the ghetto picture!!

Thanks so much to you ladies and all of those wonderful kidlets you have!
